Tiny House, Big Frustrations

You ever had one of those days where nothing goes right? Today was one of those days.

I’m about ready to give up on the bus and start building an ark. It’s been raining for approximately 40 days and 40 nights here, and our yard has turned into a swamp. I don’t know if you knew this, but its pretty hard to build things in a swamp.

We got out this morning with a list of things to do. When we got to the fourth thing that didn’t work, we decided to just call it a day. We got nothing accomplished. Saw blades are too short. Plumbing leaks. Screw heads are too small. You name it, it went wrong today.

But it’s definitely teaching me some patience.

It’s easy to get frustrated when taking on such a big, tiny project. But at the end of the day, we’ve made a lot of progress.

So we won’t get much done today. Maybe not tomorrow either. But we’ve gotten a lot done, and we’re trying to focus on that.

This is how we bought the bus and today. An eight month difference. Maybe we can have this thing done this year. 🤷🏼‍♀️ Wish us luck!
